Integrating traditional and Cutting-edge technologies Tools:
I will integrate traditional and cutting-edge technology tools in the classroom to support teaching and learning by using a few different technologies. The different technologies I will be using are Gather, student feedback, using a classroom calendar, reviewing and critiquing webpages, and Video/Multimedia Lessons and Presentations, these forms of technologies will help me or support my teaching. I would use a "classroom calendar" and “Video/Multimedia Lessons and Presentations” for my personal use in the classroom. The presentations to show videos for my lessons, and “review and critique webpages” to help me use or find legit sources for my lessons if I need to add other authors, and sites if I do not make a lesson, fully on my own. For a better outcome of the lesson, I will use 4 technologies, but two of them will be a benefit to me and the students. Gamified learning, Digital field trips, Creating digital content, and Online Activities for Students Who Finish Work Early, these forms of technologies will help me to support their learning. I will integrate traditional and cutting-edge technology tools in the classroom to support learning by making it competitive and fun. I would choose “gamified learning” because it can make using a computer/tablet and learning fun and engaging for them. It will naturally help them learn without them realizing it. I would use “gather student feedback” because this will help me to evaluate the activity's effectiveness. It can also help me to understand the students a little bit better and what they like and what works for them. The technologies used to help or support their learning will also help me to evaluate their learning to see if it is working for them or not. This is how surveying will be introduced. I will do surveying as part of my evaluation. I will ask them how they like using technology during class activities and how it helps them learn. I will evaluate the use of technology in the classroom by not just using one form of technology. I will try a new one every grade quarter, and whichever one is most effective is the one I will use most often. I will then continue to ask them how it helps them to learn, to make sure they are actually learning and not just having fun with technology. I will not fully get rid of the rest because one student could work best with a different technology than the one most effective and I want all my students to learn to the best of their abilities. Teachers should care for all of their students not just the work or subject itself.
